You can choose to rotate numbers (Rot 5), letters (Rot 13), both letters and numbers (Rot 18), or all ASCII characters (Rot 47). You can also display all possible rotations, either encrypted or decrypted.
Rot13 Geocaching
Rot13 is often used in geocaching to hide clues or solutions.
In Rot13, the letters in a text are shifted 13 positions in the alphabet. This means that each letter changes into another letter, but by applying the same method again, you get the original text back.
This allows geocachers to solve puzzles by deciphering the text. It’s a simple but effective way to hide hints and make the game more exciting.
